Overview
As part of an integrated district concept for the municipality of Altrip (Rhineland-Palatinate), comprehensive analyses and strategies were developed to improve the overall energy efficiency, urban development, and climatic conditions. Our approach included detailed analyses of the settlement, social, and economic structures, as well as the energy supply and microclimate.
A particular focus was placed on the development of a catalog of measures to enhance energy efficiency, promote renewable energies, improve the microclimate, and evaluate the feasibility of a district heating network. Additionally, a controlling and monitoring concept was devised to ensure the long-term sustainability of the measures.
Through our data-driven analyses and expertise in GIS-supported planning processes, we were able to provide a strategic foundation for sustainable district development.
